Nanlite Para 120 Softbox Quick-Open

The NANLITE Para 120 quick up softbox is perfect for portraits or fashion photography. The Para 120 Quick-Open Softbox with Bowens mount is a 16-sided light modifier that provides a soft, focused flow with a sharp, crisp edge to give the subject volume and detail, as well as natural glare in the eyes. The modifier's unique depth provides a significant drop at the edge of the field and therefore an increased degree of directional control, reduced stray light and easy flattening. The parabolic softbox comes with 1- and 2-stage front diffusers that can be used together, one at a time, or not at all to achieve different levels of contrast. A Bowens Type-S mounting ring is included, and a carrying bag is included for storage and transportation.   Control and shape the light The reflective silver interior of the Para 120 softbox provides maximum light output, while the removable front diffuser softens light and reduces contrast. In addition, the parabolic shape creates even illumination, with a circular light effect and natural glare. The 29" depth provides focused light with increased directional control.   Multiple diffusion options Nanlite offers front diffusers in 1- and 2-"stop" densities for even greater light output control. In addition, when using a soft box without a front diffuser, the Para 120 becomes a large reflector that emits light with high contrast.   Bowens mount. Designed for perfect compatibility with Nanlite's Forza and FS Series luminaires, the Para 120 Deep Softbox features a Bowens-Style Speed Ring modifier mount. This virtually universal light modifier mount extends compatibility with a wide range of light sources - LED, strobe and fluorescent constant light sources.   Quick assembly and disassembly The Nanlite Para 120 parabolic softbox uses a quick-opening speed ring with spring-loaded spoke locks. To install the softbox, simply snap the spokes into place, and to remove it, simply press a button.   Using fabric grid For extra control over light diffusion and to give it more directionality, an optional fabric grid can be installed using Velcro fasteners.
