The Nanlite Forza 500B II is a bi-color LED floodlight with an outstanding illumination output of 67,320 Lux (6,254 foot-candles) at a distance of one meter. This luminaire has an adjustable color temperature from 2700 to 6500K and a green-magenta tint correction of +/- 80, which allows you to precisely adjust the lighting intensity from 0 to 100% in 0.1% steps for the needs of film, video and photo production. The Forza 500B II Ice Light is ideal for blending harmoniously with any studio lighting, coordinating with other light sources on set, or realizing artistic creative visions. The kit includes a 55° reflector, wireless control capabilities via Bluetooth and 2.4 GHz, DMX/RDM support, as well as four fan modes for adjusting the speed or ensuring complete silence. The newly designed control unit offers a variety of power sources, including AC power and optional V-mount batteries, to power the lamp.   The Forza 500B II includes all the innovations and improvements of the Forza II line. The control unit is 16% smaller, runs on a single V-Mount battery and does not require a fan. The daylight-only version of the Forza 500 II beats it by just 2% in brightness. Significantly longer cables are included: 6 meters for power, 3 meters for head cable, and longer head cables are also available, sold separately. Compatible with a wide range of Bowens mount light modifiers, including Nanlite's own solutions. A 55° reflector is included, and with the Fresnel FL-20G (sold separately), the power increases to 17,400 Lux at 3 meters.   The Forza 500B II comes with an advanced curved arm that provides 360° rotation for extended tilt range when used with larger modifiers. The base is compatible with 5/8" baby and 1-1/8" junior mounts, and with Bowens mounting, the unit is compatible with a wide range of light modifiers. Thanks to a 110-240 VAC power supply, the Nanlite Forza 500B II is ready for use anywhere in the world, but it can also run on optional 26V/14.8V V-mount batteries in locations without access to AC power. The kit includes a padded bag for easy transportation and storage.   Main characteristics For studio and film/television and photo production Brightness: 67320 Lux Brightness adjustment: from 0 to 100% in 0.1% steps Color accuracy: CRI: 96, TLCI: 97 CCT Range: 2700-6500K CCT; green-magenta adjustment +/- 80 Power: AC or battery Control: Onboard, DMX and App Active cooling, four fan modes Mounting: 5/8" and 1-1/8" Bowens pins 12 special effects and OLED screen   Compact and powerful light The Forza 500B II delivers a massive 67320 Lux output from the head, weighing just 4.3kg and measuring 39.9 x 23.1 x 14.2cm.   Accurate color reproduction The Nanlite Forza 500B II features high color rendering performance, making it an exceptionally valuable tool for video production and photography professionals. With SSI: 84 (3200K) and 74 (5600K), CRI: 96 average, TLCI: 97 average, TM-30 Rf average 94, TM-30 Rg average 101, you won't have to waste time on color correction problems in post-production. With a high CRI (96 average) and TLCI (97 average), the Forza 500B II ensures accurate on-camera color reproduction, which is critical for shoots where color fidelity is important. This reduces the need for additional color correction in post-production because the scene's colors will appear natural and close to how the human eye perceives them. With accurate color reproduction, the Forza 500B II reduces the time spent on color correction and grading in post-production. This not only speeds up the workflow but also potentially reduces the costs associated with lengthy material processing. The Spectral Similarity Index (SSI) and the ability to adjust color temperature from 2700K to 6500K allow the Forza 500B II to blend seamlessly with other light sources, whether natural light or other artificial sources. This ensures consistency in the visual style and atmosphere of the scene. High-color rendering results contribute to an overall improvement in the quality of visual content. Vibrant, rich, and accurate colors make an image more attractive and memorable to the viewer, which is key to creating visually expressive and impactful content.   Controlling Forza 500B II via App and DMX The Nanlite Forza 500B II remote control provides convenience and flexibility in operation, allowing users to adjust lighting settings without physically interacting with the device itself. This is especially useful in complex shooting scenarios where access to lighting equipment is limited or where you need to quickly make changes to lighting settings without interrupting the shooting process. Remote control is provided through multiple channels and methods, each with its own purposes and benefits. Bluetooth and NANLINK App The Forza 500B II supports Bluetooth control using the free NANLINK app for iOS and Android. This allows the user to control all aspects of the lighting, including light intensity, color temperature, effects, and even grouping multiple devices for simultaneous control. The goal of this approach is to provide maximum convenience for the camera operator or director, allowing them to focus on the creative process rather than the technical aspects of setting up equipment. 2.4G Remote Control The 2.4G system supports the use of remote controls and transmitters such as the WS-RC-C2 Remote and WS-TB-1 Transmitter Box, which are sold separately. These devices allow the user to control lighting from a distance, which is ideal for large film sets or when lighting equipment is placed in hard-to-reach areas. This control method is ideal for situations where you need to quickly respond to changing shooting conditions or when multiple devices need to be synchronized. DMX/RDM Control DMX/RDM provides another level of control, allowing the Forza 500B II to be integrated into more complex lighting installations used in film production, theater or concerts. This protocol allows fine-tuning of all lighting parameters through standard DMX control panels, making it the preferred choice for professionals requiring a high level of control and interaction between different elements of lighting equipment.   Green/Magenta Adjustment Adjusting the green to magenta shift allows the Forza 500B II monolights to blend perfectly with ambient light and other light sources in the studio. It's also useful when you're trying to achieve a certain artistic look, or to match other lighting fixtures on set.   Improvements in Everything The control unit features easy-to-access side battery mounts, an easy-to-read OLED screen, intuitive controls with a lock button, and all cables connect from the top, allowing the unit to stand on a surface during use. The quick-release clamp is durable, easy to use and fits round or square posts and trusses.   Special effects The Nanlite Forza 500B II features special lighting effects that can simulate different lighting scenarios for increased creative shooting possibilities. This feature makes it an ideal tool for video producers and photographers looking to add movement to their work or simulate natural lighting conditions without having to travel to different locations. 12 effects can be customized and saved as new presets via the NANLINK app, providing the flexibility to create and reuse custom lighting scenarios. The use of such effects allows directors and camera operators to more precisely control the atmosphere of a scene and the emotional response of the audience, deepening their involvement in the story.   Forza 500B II equipment: 1x Forza 500B II Bicolor LED Floodlight 1x Control box with V-shaped mounting plates 1x 9.10ft (3m) head cable 1x Power cable 19.8ft (6m) 1x RF-BM 55 degree reflector with Bowens mount 1x ASCPQRFZ Quick Release Tripod Clamp 1x AS-CAP-BW-B COB protective cap 1x Padded carrying bag 1x DMX Help Guide 1x User Manual ..
